Welcome to our store! Our Rustic Heart Candle Co. was founded in 2018. We’re a handmade small family business in Truckee, California. We believe in finding the things that make you feel good inside & out. Aromatherapy is a beautiful way to access mood enhancing scents or to enjoy a fresh and inviting background for your favorite home, classroom and office spaces. Our small batch candles are made from the highest quality and non-toxic ingredients and feature all of the beautiful qualities that you’re looking for in a candle. Here’s a few:

Keep your space smelling fresh and clean while leaving no toxic residue behind! Absorb the musty, strong food, pet odors and leave behind the fresh welcoming and ambient scent of your choice.

Directions: Sprinkle on carpet, fabric upholstery, mattresses, dog beds, automobiles and in shoes. Let it sit for an hour or more and vacuum it up!

For strong odors, remove the source of smell if possible. Pour about (1) cup of sprinkle into a bowl and place inside the odorous area. Close the door and let sit overnight.

Candle Safety and Care

Keep your wicks trimmed to 1/4” and your wax pool free from debris/trimmings before burning.

Always Burn your candles on a heat resistant surface and keep them away from flammable items, small children and pets. Keep your candles away from drafts, vents or ceiling fans to prevent smoking or wick blowing which could cause the candle to burn unevenly or create a fire hazard.

For the first lighting of your candle, allow the candle to melt all the way across the ENTIRE candle top (about 2-4 hours). This sets the tone for an even and maximum burn life for your candle. This is very important to do with all your custom vessels, so they melt correctly. Don’t burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

**Never touch or leave a burning candle unattended.

**Keep any added candle tops (i.e. flowers, herbs, citrus, pinecones, etc.) away from the burning wicks by gently pulling them back towards the edges away from the burning wick. When extinguishing wicks pull back any candle top items to dry/set away from wick/s when relit
